Building Overview

Our toughest project and the third Bournemouth location for Venaspace, we are proud to reveal the transformation of this historic landmark in Bournemouth. With nods to its heritage, Victorian Masonic design and sensitive restoration of some beautiful original features, we have transformed this previously neglected Freemasons Lodge into a modern workspace.The renovation included a like-for-like replica of the ornate domed ceiling, preservation of the stone cornice and architrave and exposing the original checkered floor, which is a typical design feature of a Masonic ceremony room. The installation of two large mezzanine floor areas have transformed the two halls from their ceremonial days into stunning workspaces, giving way for two meeting rooms and up to 70 workstations.
