The Department’s location at 1 N. 1st Street was inspired by drawings from Frank Lloyd Wright. It was also home to the Korrick Department Store, which served the Phoenix community for over 50 years. The building’s name today serves to honor those business leaders and entrepreneurs who came before us and took risks, worked tirelessly, and laid the foundation for the city we know and love today.What was originally one a few department stores in Phoenix is now home to dozens of businesses including companies in large, private suites, 1-4 person offices for entrepreneurs and consultants, team spaces for digital agencies, retail storefronts, and single desks in the open coworking space.The Department is a 7-floor building offering flexible office, coworking, retail, and event space all with a modern feel and the amenities needed to grow a business.
