9 Best Coworking Spaces in Ottawa for 2026

Ottawa’s coworking market reflects two unusually strong sources of workspace demand: a large public-sector and professional-services economy in and around Downtown, and one of North America’s most concentrated technology workforces. Invest Ottawa reports that the region has more than 1,800 technology companies, while tech talent accounts for around 12% of the local workforce.

Those employment centres create very different coworking needs. Parliament and Albert Street work well for people dealing with government departments and downtown clients; Rideau puts members beside the ByWard Market and the eastern side of the core; Preston Street serves Little Italy and the Trillium Line corridor; while Vanier gives remote professionals an alternative to travelling downtown whenever they need a proper workplace.

The spaces featured in this list also differ considerably once you get inside. Some are conventional serviced-office centres with a single coworking membership, while Collabüro and Coworkly are much more deliberately designed around shared work, community, quiet zones, and small teams. The comparison of the best coworking spaces in Ottawa below looks at those differences alongside transit, meeting facilities, access hours, and how useful each space is for the people it is likely to serve.
