Office Park Plaza

OPP is a new venture by Christian Shomberg and Mark Eggel. Mark has a background in commercial and residential construction for over 25 years in Wichita, KS. Christian has a background in commercial and residential real estate and construction also in Wichita.Together they have been bringing new life to the building while keeping the old intact. Also, going green has been a big part of the construction. Using the building's hail damaged roof slate for flooring throughout Office Park Plaza has not only been a green way to go, but also gives OPP some of its character that can't be bought. Other things that have been done to the building include the installation of high-efficiency HVAC heat pumps, putting in new windows, sealed and insulating the building.Some of the details of OPP include custom crafted woodwork throughout, original light fixtures, crown molding, custom-crafted wood-paneled offices with private restrooms, 7' high doors, exposed brick, custom-crafted base, old telephone box on display, original boiler parts on display, exposed ceiling with ductwork and two spiral staircases.
