The Ground

The Ground is a digital expert hub located in Malmö, Sweden that provides an innovative and collaborative co-working space for entrepreneurs, freelancers, consultants, and more. Established in 2012 by a group of friends and startup veterans as The Jard, the hub quickly outgrew its original location and eventually moved to Bredgatan 4 in 2015 to become The Ground. Following this move, the house next door was purchased and officially opened as The Ground 2.0; offering 4 available listings made up of 3 private spaces and 1 co-working space that can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 4 desks starting at kr460 per desk. In addition to providing a space for creatives to work on their projects, everyone at The Ground is encouraged to help make it feel more like home by hosting expert meet-ups and events or making improvements around the house. Over the years, the community has grown significantly with over 135 people spanning 20 companies plus 2 dogs currently occupying the space – all with sustainability at the forefront of their minds!
