The Urban Hive is a membership-based collective of people who are passionate about challenging the status-quo, reject outdated modes of work and believe in the power of innovation, change, human connection, collaboration and community. We provide a place to go--an un-office if you will--to work, meet, collaborate, create and (yes) play. Think of it as a great company culture, just without the company. The Urban Hive offers shared workspaces, private offices, meeting rooms, conference rooms, a shared kitchen, blazing wi-fi, pressed coffee, regular educational and entertainment events, and a curated, art adorned gallery, with the works of some of Sacramento's best artists. Surroundings Matter. We operate out of a modern, urban-industrial space at the center of Midtown Sacramento, in the heart of the current cultural explosion that is happening in our city. Marked by old brick walls, soaring ceilings, concrete floors, steel tables, modern furniture and spectacular art. No, this is not your grandfather's office. Let's face it: the traditional office is dead. We have created this space because we believe in the power of human connection, that great things come through collaboration and networks, that creative people need to be inspired by their surroundings and the people around them.
