Gather-Studios is a shared office building located in downtown Cary, North Carolina created and managed by designer and entrepreneur Michelle Smith. Gather-Studios features a number of private creative artisan work spaces housed in a beautiful old home, the space features a classroom area in the front, a garden patio in the back, and a shared kitchen overlooking the back yard. The environment is intentionally serene, quiet and cozy, filled with plants and good vibes. The space feels more like a home than an office. It is lovingly-dubbed 'coworking for introverts' though there is also a focus on holistic community. Many of tenants are focused on healing, wellness and community in some capacity. In addition, Gather itself is a hybrid of many things including part coworking (focused on mostly women entrepreneurs), a classroom featuring creative maker lead classes, an intimate event venue and an online shop and showroom space.Gather-Studios is located steps away from the downtown Cary park, library and fountain and directly across the street from the Cary Arts Center. The house features hardwood floors throughout, with gorgeous natural light. Located in an extremely walk-able neighborhood in the center of the Triangle area of North Carolina, Gather-Studios is a walk or bike ride away from a movie theater, a brewery, a coffee shop, a ceramics studio, a park, the library, multiple bakeries, a chocolate shop, the train station, and the post office.
