NextSpace Coworking Berkeley members are a diverse collection of freelancers, attorneys, software developers, start-ups, and non-profit organizations who support each other in their respective enterprises. We call it the “NextSpace Effect.” Our main rules are to be respectful of the community, and to help make the space a productive and pleasant place for everyone to work. We offer open coworking and dedicated desks if you prefer a designated workstation within the open workspace. NextSpace Berkeley has a dozen private office spaces that can accommodate between 1 and 4 professionals who prefer a little more privacy than the pure open coworking environment. Each office comes furnished and allows you to work in a quiet and private space, but remain attached to the buzzing coworking community with full access to the awesome events our members and NextSpace community curators put together regularly. The best of both worlds!

NextSpace, and in particular NextSpace Coworking Berkeley, has set the standard for fostering a dynamic, active, trustworthy, effective, and fulfilling coworking community. Now powered by flexible office space provider Pacific Workplaces, our downtown Berkeley workspace is conveniently located within the historic Wells Fargo Bank building, down the street from the Downtown Berkeley BART station and two blocks from University Avenue.
