Location Vredenburg is in the old Staffhorst building, also known as the Vinkepand. The building has been a national monument of the municipality of Utrecht since 2001, but was initially built in 1857 as a residential complex with five spacious apartments, ten years after the demolition of the Catharijnepoort. Forty years later, in 1890, the Vinkepand was given its first business function. This location has seen many businesses, such as a furniture store and clothing store. The Vinke building has had green tiles on the outside walls for a long time. The municipality sold the Vinke building to Muziek Staffhorst in 1989 for an amount of only 1 guilder with one condition: that Staffhorst would restore the building. Thanks to Staffhorst, the building now has the recognizable appearance with its white walls, which we know to this day.You can park your car at Paardenveld and P5 Hoog Catharijne in Utrecht.
