1 Piet Heinstraat

The Emerhuys in Zutphen was built in 1997, under the architecture of Maas Architecten from Lochem. This stately office building, strategically located in the most visible location on the edge of Zutphen (Piet Heinstraat 1 to 10), was to become the home base for the offices of Nysingh Advocaten, Walgemoed Accountants en Adviseurs and Tap Tromp van Hoff Notarissen for the coming decades. The official opening took place on 26 September 1997. Around the opening, residents of Zutphen were given the opportunity to become acquainted with this beautiful, unique building. On the occasion of the opening, a collection of poems was published, “Faust, zoste deel”, written by Gerrit Komrij. This collection contains, among other things, the appropriate poems “de advocaat”, “de notaris” and “de accountant”.
