The UOB Plaza is a 280.1 m tall 67-floor high-rise, three-story underground building built at Raffles Place, Singapore's Central Business District, along the Singapore River. It is strategically situated within Raffles Place, the financial and business hub of Singapore, with direct access to the Raffles Place MRT Station. Designed by Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, the UOB Plaza One's architecture is inspired by the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles and has a popular restaurant on the 60th floor. Hotels and restaurants are within easy walking distance while the Singapore Changi International Airport just 20.8km away makes overseas travel simple. It is the headquarters of a major bank and a number of other noted financial corporations and has a restaurant on the 60th floor. Designed by Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, its architecture is inspired by the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles. This tower is linked to the 38-storey UOB Plaza Two building by a podium that houses the banking hall as well as two renowned sculptures, 'City Room' by Salvador Dali, and 'Bird' by Fernando Botero. Full height glass walls provide dramatic lighting and views of the Singapore River. There are two buildings that make up the Plaza, namely the 67-storey UOB Plaza One and the 38-storey UOB Plaza Two.
