A new addition to the historic building is the entrance tower on the south facade. A new elevator and stairs have been placed centrally in the building that connects to the new building structure: central office squares enclosed with offices. Mezzanine floors make good use of the 5 meter high floors in the building, and it contributes positively to the spatial experience. The building is equipped with a sustainable installation, part of the electricity consumption is generated by solar panels. Building 88 is a beautiful piece of industrial heritage that, after renovation, will be rented out as a business complex to startups and is an inspiring workplace for entrepreneurs.

A former workshop became an inspiring workplace for entrepreneurs.Van der Weegen acquired Building 88 in the autumn of 2016 through a tender issued by the municipality of Tilburg . The municipality requested a plan for the purchase, renovation and operation of the building. The plan was rated as best by the municipality.
